I suppose this
it what it must
have been like
to have lived
during the war,
or the depression.
With shortages
and rationing,
worry and fear.
For me, it’s the
first time that
I’ve ever been to
shops and seen
the shelves mostly
empty, and I’ll tell
you what, it’s weird,
it’s really fucking
weird. What can you
do? We’re all on a
lockdown, we’re
all imprisoned,
against our will.
It’s like living in
a horror film, or
a Stephen King
novel. I vaguely
remember an
old Chinese curse.
