2 micro poems by Bojana Stojcic

MY FIRST / MY LAST

I did it while riding a balloon

with my clothes on

guessed there’d be just enough friction

between my skin and the fabric

to push me over the edge

These days I’m getting to know my body and
what it feels like to be a woman

MY BODY BELONGS TO ME

Layla would say

I was becoming obsessed

it’s not that

I was in good hands—that’s all

and you can’t really blame me

for growing up in a country where
female orgasm was banned by law
