The Famous Poetry Outlaws are Paintings Walls and Whispers by David L O’Nan

Punk Noir Magazine

Poems, stories about…
Bad men, good men, lost loves, battles with bottles, tramps on the street, homeless jazz poetry, psychedelic trips, vengeance seekers, On the Road Chasers where in the film of night in sedated states you see Cohen, Waits, Plath, Sexton, Bukowski, Ochs, Ginsberg, Lennon, Cave & Dylan.

Play kick the can into tumbleweeds til the mirages become your soul and replace all your waters, baby.
These aren’t cowboys in black, these aren’t leather jackets kicking in the jukebox, not the fedoras melting in wildfires, or motorcyclist riding into wave walls.

The outlaws that have to toughen out addictions, obsessions, weathering, and come to grip with fading. Heaven or Hell, got ya…or so the pianos ending in a crescendo say so.

These are outlaws that have burned their bridges, that have prayed on bleeding knees, that battle the axes swirling in the brain. Also, bad ladies, lost ladies, fearful women and our circular unknowing.

With new pictures, omitted poems from original, added poems (repurposed), short stories, poem series, prose & more.
I work hard at presenting imagery in the poetry and stories I write.
